You'll own on-call rotation for the edge network alongside two other engineers, work directly on the health-check and failover systems described on our platform page, and be the person who decides whether a rollout is safe to continue.
Looking for: production experience with distributed systems, comfort being paged, plain writing in postmortems.
Focused on the routing and anycast layer — expanding into new points of presence, tuning health-check thresholds, and reducing failover time. You'll work closely with the SRE on-call rotation but own the network layer specifically.
Looking for: BGP and anycast experience, comfort reading packet captures, prior work standing up new PoPs.
You'll write the docs, answer the hard support tickets that need an engineer's context, and be the first read on anything customer-facing before it ships — including the copy on this site.
Looking for: has shipped developer docs before, comfortable in a terminal, writes in plain language.
